The BJJ curriculum bridges the gap between play-based movement and structured martial arts. At this developmental stage, the focus is on building coordination, teaching body control, and instilling mat discipline.

B-Children that have participated in previous BJJ programs.

We will continue to build on the fundamentals of BJJ. We will focus on body awareness, safety, positional control, and play-based learning. At this developmental stage, the primary objective is to teach kids how to use technique rather than strength, and how to safely navigate physical contact without aggression.

Youth 9-14 Beginner

A- No prior BJJ Experience

Starting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) with zero experience at ages 9 to 14 is incredibly common and one of the best times to start. At this age group,we will transition from the “game-based” learning of younger kids into structured, realistic technique and athleticism,

We will cover body awareness and learning how to coordinate hands, hips, and feet.

B- Have participated in previous BJJ programs.

Youth still developing their foundational skills.”Beginner B” usually refers to students who already have basic foundational skills. This specific class is tailored for kids aged 9 to 14 who are not absolute beginners, but have already completed an introductory BJJ program and understand the core fundamentals.
